NET, Nebraska’s PBS & NPR station is seeking an experienced salesperson to represent the entire NET portfolio, including Radio, Television, and Digital Underwriting Sales (Advertising), Event Sponsorships and Local Production support. This position will office out of our Lincoln, NE home office, but will be making regular sales calls into Greater Nebraska markets including Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney.

Coordinates and produces NET broadcast program schedules on a monthly basis and changes when necessary. Communicates and works with the NET Program Manager and contractual service provider for program services to insure accuracy in the schedules. Acquires program offer information for national and local productions, enters metadata, rights and acquires media needed to distribute the content. Responsible for producing NET television broadcast logs and NET Radio logs. Coordinates program acquisition and formats for Pledge drives.

Perform administrative duties to ensure consistent, efficient, and highly-performing support to all units within NET including General Manager and Assistant General Managers. Serves as liaison between executives and all internal departments. Provides broad range of complex office management and administrative support.

Provide system administration for Microsoft/Active Directory platforms. Manage a VMware Vsphere virtual server environment for over 85 servers. Provide support services for Enterprise SAN including monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting. Manage and maintain the video editing network and systems, PBX phone switch and routing system for over 400 phones, endpoint security and VMware VDI virtual desktop environment. Provides project management and oversight for system migrations, implementation and administration.

Nebraska Educational Telecommunications is seeking applicants for a Part-time Radio Announcer.

This position would make live on-air announcements, including classical music announcing, read underwriter copy, weather forecasts and news. Operate studio electronics such as broadcast board, CD players, and audio playback from broadcast software.

Experience and education or training in broadcast journalism, or music required. Six months broadcasting, and classical music background preferred.
